Directed by Lee Bidgood, ETSU Mandolin Orchestra is a part of Bluegrass, Old-Time and Roots Music Studies in the Department of Appalachian Studies at ETSU. We adapt older repertoire and vernacular traditions, and make new connections that balance artistic and technical development with the legacy of the mandolin orchestra as a social institution.
